I spent the first half of the week writing some more towards my essay, ready for the hand-in on Thursday. To gather some primary research for this particular paragraph, I made a poll on Twitter regarding recent events.
Then, I went back over the previous exercises and began knitting them together to form the body of my essay. For the paragraphs I haven't got yet, I made a list of bullet points of what I want to cover over this month. However, I currently have nearly 6,000 words so I might not be able to explore these points.
Last week I did a series of colour tests, however I couldn't decided between two of them. So, I put it to a vote on my Instagram story.
Above are the two tests I was stuck between. Once again, I had some issues with the saturation as the colours my laptop displays are far less saturated than those through my phone screen. Similarly to the project I completed for 603 last month, I decided to also do some saturation tests with the image that got the most votes through the Instagram poll.
The second piece won overall. Once I was happy with the tones, I began to colour my animation. I may refine this piece further however, that completely depends on the time I have left alongside finishing my essay and painting my visual journal. Next week, I will add the background.
I also refined my turn-arounds by adding colour and the background.
